After a bumper flax crop, Nils Rolfsrud took his family to Norway intending to buy a "gaard" and live there. Plans did not materialize. Erling learned to walk in Norway.

This is the chronology of the life of author, teacher, and parent, Erling Rolfsrud, who died Aug. 21, 1994, in Alexandria, Minnesota.
Since the passing of his wife, Beverly, on Jan. 26, 2015, we have added some autobiographical material written by her.
A meticulous keeper of details, he kept copious notes and files on many topics, including himself.
This chronology is taken directly from a document he prepared for his children's use. It is reprinted here by his son for any who are interested.
In the future, photos and other augmentations will be published as well, as time and interest allows.
